What you'll do
After a year like no other, get into the Festive mood by creating yourself a set of three cute Christmas Gnomes.
Organise a group of friends and family and have a workshop session at your place. You just need sufficient space to hold a Covid19 safe event with sufficient area for people to spread out.
It’s an easy beginner class, with everything provided and no experience is necessary.
This is perfect way to get in the mood for Christmas. Come solo or bring a friend and you get to take home the perfect handmade gift or your new favourite Christmas decorations.
What you will make and take home:
Your DIY Christmas Gnome pack includes a set of 3 gnomes (appox 45cm, 30cm and 20cm tall), there will be different styles to choose from and you can indicate your colour preference when you book your class from the example gnomes listed. Your group can pre-select their Kit colours or I can bring various selections on the night - it’s up to you.
The 2 hour workshop will include a demonstration as we make the middle sized gnome together. If time permits, you can also get started on the other two gnomes or you can take them home to finish them. You can get as much done on the night as you feel comfortable with and there are full photographic instructions of how to make the gnomes included in your take home kit. All materials are provided in the take home kit, but tools are only provided for use in the workshop.
If you want it to be more relaxed, the session can be 3 hours (instead of up to 2hours) for an extra $100 fee for the group payable at the event. I will require half an hour setup prior to the 2 hour session and up to 15 minutes to pack up after. This is included in the session cost of $55pp.
I will have some other beard options and a few other hat alternatives if your group want to choose others on the night.
You will be supplied with all tools and materials to make the gnomes, and everything is pre-cut ready to put together making it much quicker on the night. The gnomes are put together using some basic hand-sewing and hot gluing and before you “gnome” it you’ll be marvelling at your cute Christmas Creation.
Knowledge Required
No experience necessary, we will be using hot glue guns and some basic hand-sewing so it is suited to anyone over the age of 15.
What you'll get
Workshop DIY Kit including all pre-cut materials and photographic instructions for completing a set of three Christmas gnomes of your choice. We will arrange your colour selection choice for your group 1 week in advance.
What you need to supply
Your Christmas event space - you need tables and chairs for people to spread out and provision of power for the glue guns. I will bring Christmas tablecloths and hot glue mats to protect surfaces and power extension leads for the glue guns.
Your Guests
They should bring their Christmas cheer!
They will need to wear closed in shoes for safety purposes. For Covid19 safety, your guests will be required to sign in and hand sanitise and appropriately spaced. You can request face masks if necessary. Please request that your guests do not attend if they are experiencing any COVID19 symptoms and please contact me to request a refund for them if they cannot attend.
