Skid Row and Changing Park Bench

This project required black and white cartoon trees, to turn into colourful trees on centre stage, so we created trees on wheels that could spin around.

We created skid row steps. The tricky request was a park bench had to turn into a rock in a pond then turn into a rocket. We created a false draw under the rolling grass covered base for the park bench and created a folded back concertina fabric rock which could fold over the park bench and pull out drawers from the base held the fabric waves which were pulled out and waved on stage. Then the folded rocked was pulled out from under the hidden draw and folded out to fly around the stage .
